About Sharon Sharon Serrago has been painting since childhood at
the side of her mother, who was also an artist. She has studied with many
renowned artists such as Jane Jones, Miles Batt, Fran Larson, Ken Hosmer,
Nita Leland, Arnold Lowrey, Karen Vernon, Kurt Anderson, Hugh Greer, Greg
Biolchini, Gerald Brommer and many others.
While her early training was in oils,
Sharon turned to watercolor as she became more and more fascinated with
the transparency of colors and textures she could achieve with this
medium. She also works in acrylics and pastels.
Many of Sharon's paintings are at her studio in Richardson,
TX, where she holds weekly classes.
In all her classes, though thematic material may vary, Sharon focuses on color and design theory. She
approaches all her teaching with the belief that anyone can learn to
paint.
Her studio is located at 850 N. Dorothy
Dr., Suite 502, conveniently located near Central Expressway and Arapaho.
If you are interested in learning the design and color theory behind good
paintings, you would enjoy Sharon's classes. Call for more information.
