Students of all levels may enter classes; no experience is required. Beginning students may require more attention in the basics of handling the medium, while more advanced students will require more attention during critiques regarding design and color theory.

Each class will be presented with a particular assignment, consistently focusing on design and color theory. Each class begins with a critique of students' past work with suggestions for improvement. Problem solving is a regular part of instruction.

Demonstrations are an important aspect of each class. Sharon demonstrates techniques used in the assignment and walks students through the painting process as they begin work on their own paintings.

Classes at Sharon's studio follow a structure of 5-week sessions. This provides an easy entrance and exit date for those students who do not wish to study on a continual basis. Each 5-week series is $120.00.
