Paints                               Do not buy cheap paint. These paints are very good and will give you good results:

Holbein: Scarlet Lake, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, Hooker’s Green, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Ultramarine Light, Permanent Red, Bright Violet

Windsor & Newton:  Indian Yellow, Prussian Blue, Cobalt Blue, Windsor Violet

MaimeriBlu:    Primary Blue (Cyan)

Daniel Smith:    Quinacridone Burnt Scarlet

American Journey:    Quinacridone Gold,  Wild Fuchsia

Paper                               Arches 140lb cold press   3 full sheets   22x30  (no books or pads).

Please be sure you are getting Arches. This paper is excellent for beginners as well as professionals.
